Ladies of Tuscany started with something I was missing myself.
Spending more and more time in Tuscany, I realised that meeting other women here isn’t always as easy as it sounds. There are plenty of online groups, but I was looking for something different:
a way to actually meet.
For a coffee. A walk. Dinner. An event.
Or simply because it’s nice to know who else is around.
So I decided to create it myself.

How it started
About Ladies of Tuscany
Ladies of Tuscany is an international community for women who live in Tuscany, spend part of the year here, or simply feel connected to the region. It was founded in 2026 by Joyce Verdijk. We organise small events across Tuscany, from wine tastings in Chianti and walks along the walls of Lucca to museum visits in Pisa and coffee mornings in Pistoia. Creating a profile is free; you only pay for the events you join.
Many women come on their own, and that is exactly the point.
